a year later

My little baby is growing up so fast!

She loves....
....the color pink! (She's convinced me that I love pink too. "Yes, mamma, your love pink, just like me!" She doesn't discriminate--she also loves purple.
....anything sparkly and glittery
....ballet (loves to wear her pnik tu-tu
....dancing (she loves going to dancing class (Miss Dory's class)
....to make you happy. She's a very sweet and happy child. She doesn't like violence or loud voices.
....to snuggle with her daddy after she woke up from a nap. The first person she looks for is daddy to snuggle with until she's fully awake.
....chicken nuggets.
....chocolate milk
....stuffed animals (and all of her stuffed animal toys).
....she's very smart. She talks in complete sentences and can carry on long conversations and talk your ears off. She loves to laugh and sing the Thomas theme song.
....to tell it like it is. One day when daddy was picking her up from thou's house to return home, they passed by the town park. The park had a baseball game going on. Rant wanted to watch the game. He was trying to negotiate with daddy on staying for the game. I want to stay b/c ...., dad replies no. We should stay b/c ....., dad replies no, etc. This went on and on. Paige was just sitting in the back all quiet listeneing to the two going back and forth. Then finally she had enough and said, "wa-wa-wah!."

What's going on?

Pooh:
...My little Pooh turned 2.
...She loves to sing her ABCs, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and 10 Little Monkeys.
...All her molars are in except the 4 wisdom teeth.
...She has to have blood withdrawn for her 2-yr old lead test (state requirement)---I think this one calls for her Dad to take her. I took her the 1st year and had a hard time when she was looking at me to save her from the plebomist (sp?). The poor child. It just breaks my heart.
...Pooh just recently love to say her name, "Paigey vicki", "Rant Vicki", "Daddy Vicki" and "Mamma Vicki".
...Pooh's favorite color is pink, anything pink. She's our girly girl.

Rant:
...He loves hamburgers.
...He loves ANYTHING BLUE!!! He used to love green but about a month ago, everything has to be blue for him.
...He loves The Naked Brothers Band, from the Nickelodeon channel. His favorite song was Crazy Car. It's cute, his uncle Brian gave him a scratch ticket and he won $20 (he used that money ot buy his Naked Brothers cd.
...Like his Dad, anything with sugar is his favorite food. His has a really bad sweet tooth!!

A play in the snow

It snowed a little bit today, so Pooh and Grant got a chance to play in the pretty white "wonder."

Noticed in the last pic Pooh has her boots backwards??? Both of my kids are very independent and can dress themselves. As you can see, it may be on backwards but they're dressed, right?? Pooh LOVES her pink boots!! You can see her wearing it everytime we go out. It's so worn out but it's the only thing that she will wear. She picked it out herself!!

So carefree to be a child again......

Go Patriots!!

Guess what today is???? Super Bowl Sunday!!! The Pats made it to the play-offs. We're all excited!! Both kids and Daddy are dressed in their Patriots garb. My sister is having a Super Bowl party at their house and so is Jason & Theresa. Such a fun day to be a Patriots fan!!! Here is a picture of Pooh in her NE Patriots jersey. I think she looks so cute in her pink jersey.

Grant at Soccer

Here is Grant at his soccer practice. He's at that stage where he loves to pick up the ball with his hands. Most times, he'll do whatever he wants and not what coach wants. He has 2 coaches: coach Jack and coach John. Grant has been in coach John's session for a few sessions already and coach John has gotten to know his personality and name. It was cute, during practice the ocaches would ask questions to get the kids ot interact and pay attention. As usual, Grant would yell out his answers and he gets quite imaginative! You can see he's a little hogger. You can only hear his voice while the rest of the kids are quiet. Yes, my 3-yr old has a passion for soccer! His school teachers says that he's quiet but not at soccer! Here are a few pictures of him during soccer practice...

Grant at swimming

Here's a few pictures of Grant during his swimming lesson. He LOVES water. If he could, he would spend all day in the pool! The pictures are of him and Miss Robin and his classmates. He's such a happy boy.

More pictures

Here are a few more pictures from Christmas over cousin TJ's house.
